Mooloolaba Beach
You can’t come to the Sunshine Coast without visiting Mooloolaba. Stroll along the boardwalk, plan a fun day at the beach or take the kiddos to the best beach park playground with a fantastic view.

Noosa National Park
Noosa is one of my favorite places on the Sunshine Coast. You can bring a pram or wagon on the path. Bring plenty of snacks and plan a family picnic at Tea Tree Bay. Bring plenty of water, and remember to wear sunscreen.
The Ginger Factory
If you’re little ones love trains, bring them to the Ginger Factory. Ride along the train through 9 hectares of lush sub-tropical gardens. Take a stroll under the colorful umbrellas, enjoy the boat ride, or check out the soft play and kids play area.
Aussie World
Tiny Tots is a fun event for toddlers at Aussie World. For $20 each, you and your little ones can enjoy three hours of fun. Each month, there is a different theme. Kids under 3 are free.

Nature Walks and Outdoor Activities
Buderim Falls or Serenity Falls
There are two paths to the waterfall. The entrance via Lindsay Road is pram-friendly. You’ll have to park the pram once the boardwalk ends and continue to the waterfall.
EJ Foote Sanctuary
There are several walking trails and picnic tables. It’s also pram-friendly. Don’t forget mosquito repellant.
Buderim Palmwoods Heritage Tramway Walk
Take the kids for a walk and learn the history of the tramway. This track is pram and wheelchair accessible. It is located on the corner of Mons Rd & Telco Rd in Buderim.
Mary Cairncross Scenic Reserve
Explore the rainforest, visit the Discovery Centre for interactive displays, and soak in the breathtaking views of the Glasshouse Mountains. There is also a cafe and a playground for kids.
Glass House Mountains
Adventurous families will enjoy a walk up Mount Ngungun. Arrive early for the best sunset views!
Maleny Botanic Gardens
A beautiful place for nature and bird lovers. Kids under 3 are free.
Fun Things to Do with Toddlers on the Sunshine Coast
Play Matters Sunshine Coast
Make new friends at this fun playgroup in Buderim. They’re open Monday through Friday from 9:30-11:30. $5 per family.
HYPT
From Messy play to Maggy Moo Music, HYPT is the ultimate kids’ venue in Buderim. There is also a soft-play area and a creche.
Sunshine Coast Libraries
Bring your little ones to Storytime or Rhymetime and check out new toys at the toy library.
Fitkids Club Buderim
Keep the kids moving in this fun, non-competitive gymnastics program. Each class involves up-tempo music, gymnastics exercises, and games kids will love.
Visit a Strawberry Farm
Bring the kids to a Sunshine Coast Strawberry farm to pick the most delicious strawberries.
