Best Places to Eat

If you only have a few hours to explore Oxnard head straight to the Annex Food Hall. There’s something for everyone, even for the pickiest eaters! Grab an acai bowl or smoothie from the Blend Superfood Bar or a cappuccino and blueberry muffin at Ragamuffin Coffee Roasters. The Annex has plenty of seating, so everyone can get what they like and enjoy a meal together.

Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just want to treat yourself, you can’t go wrong with Larsen’s Grill or Settebello.

Larsen’s is a prime steakhouse that’s a little on the pricier side, but it’s worth the splurge. Settebello has a fun lively atmosphere with an amazing selection of pizza Napoletana and pasta.

Unique Date Night Ideas

As a parent, it’s not every day that we get to have a night out to ourselves. So on those special occasions, you have to make the most of it. The Collection at RiverPark is great because it takes out the guesswork of what to do.

  • Start your night with dinner and drinks followed by a movie.
  • Laugh all night at a comedy show at Levity Live.
  • Plan an escape at the Red Door Escape Room.
  • Play arcade games and bowl at Bowlero.
  • Try something new and throw axes at The Mighty Axe.
  • Dive into a new hobby and create something fun at Color Me Mine or The Painted Cabernet.
  • Unwind with a craft beer at Bottle & Pint.

With so many unique options, it would be nearly impossible to not have fun here.

Explore with Little Ones

Jump ‘N Jammin at The Collection at RiverPark

Searching for something fun to do in Oxnard with kids? Here are some fun ideas:

Jump ‘N Jammin – This is a fun indoor play center for kids. They even have a section for babies and toddlers. My boys loved jumping, climbing and going down the slides. Socks are a must.

Spend the afternoon at the kids’ outdoor playground or bring a ball to run around the grassy area near the park. There are also turtles near the park and so many beautiful art murals and installations to explore. How many can you count?

The Collection hosts many kid-friendly events throughout the year, including Trick-or-Treating, the Tree Lightening Celebration and dance parties for little ones.

Take some time out for yourself and recharge with a massage or facial at Massage Envy.
