I grew up in Ventura County, so Santa Barbara has always been a hop, skip and a jump away. My sister has been living there for a few years now, and whenever I visit, it boggles my mind why I don’t go there more often. This was my last trip there.
Just like the perfect host she is, she took me to one of her favorite spots for breakfast/lunch before she had to go to work.
I love walking on State St, especially on such a beautiful day.

I’m normally an egg whites gal, but I always forget to ask. Still good.
the writing’s on the wall- “you’ll always remember your first crush”
Nicole bought me a mini-cupcake to go…Red Velvet. Heavenly!

It’s been a long time since I’ve been to Santa Barbara, and I almost forgot how amazing and relaxing it can be. The drive up the coast is picture perfect, especially on nice days like this. Make a wish it’s 10/10/10!
Everything you need is on State St. My sister Nicole lives two blocks away from here and we walked to a wine tasting! I liked the Pinot Noir at Oreana Winery
$10 for the wine tasting… loved it.
I wish I had more time to spend… there is so much walking and exploring to do. My sister has been living here for the past year and she loves it. I don’t blame her 🙂
There’s a great wine tasting selection and State St. is a shopper’s paradise. Don’t believe me? See for yourself… SB shopping
I suggest you bring your walking shoes, or a bike if you have one. Otherwise, you’ll be coming home with a few blisters… and that’s no fun.
