Best Sun Hats for Travel
I love a good packable hat because you don’t have to worry about smashing it in your bag or suitcase.
A Must-Have For Tropical Vacations: The Floppy Sun Hat
A floppy sun hat is easy to fold and pack. It’s the perfect accessory for sun-soaked afternoons at the beach or resort pool.
Bucket Hats for Beach Babes
Bucket hats are big this season, and for good reason. They’re cute, stylish, and practical to repel the sun’s harmful rays. Wear it to the beach, sightseeing, and toss it in your beach bag, or carry on for easy transport.
A straw hat or wide-brimmed beach hat is the perfect sunny day staple to your vacation wardrobe. During your holiday, limit your sun exposure and avoid peak hours. Use proper sun protection because we all know sunburns are no joke!
Travel Hacks: Here’s how to pack your sun hats
If you’ve ever tried to pack a straw hat inside your suitcase, you know that it takes a lot of strategic planning to make sure it doesn’t crease or get damaged while you’re jet-setting to your holiday destination. Usually, I just wear my hat to the airport, so I know that it will arrive in perfect shape.
If, for some reason, you can’t wear or carry your hat, turn your hat upside down, fill the inside, and carefully pack your clothes to make sure it looks as good as new when you’re ready to unpack.
I also recommend traveling with a hat holder to keep your hands free while traveling.
Can’t decide between a floppy hat, bucket hat, Panama hat, or straw hat? Pack a few! You know you’ll put them to good use on your trip.
