A New Year

“This is the beginning of a new day. You have been given this day to use as you will.

You can waste it or use it for good.

What you do today is important because you are exchanging a day of your life for it.

When tomorrow comes, this day will be gone forever;

in its place is something that you have left behind…let it be something good.”

I look at this quote whenever I need inspiration, and when I came across it the other day I started to think about New Year’s Resolutions.  This year was filled with many adventures, lots of travels and some obstacles to make me appreciate the good times a little more.

I’m excited for 2011- I can already tell there will be a lot of change this year… and I’ve always been a fan of shaking things up.  Although I’m a little nervous to take a leap without a net, I’m even more excited for what’s to come.

What’s on your list? Are you sticking to traditional resolutions or are you thinking outside the box? Do tell 🙂

    I don’t normally make New Years resolutions. I guess mine this year is more “traditional.” I’m vowing to stop drinking sodas. YUP.

    ..and if I fail at that, drink less. 😉

      Girl, I feel you! I’m addicted to diet soda… but quitting is a work in progress.

    Tell me about it! I think I managed to stay off of soda’s for one whole month lol
