Let me start off by saying this post is going to be a little all over the place… so many things happened in one little day.
The big story is the earthquake! A 5.4 made my heart skip a beat just before 5pm. I was in the newsroom working on a story, and boy, did I feel the earth tremble! The epicenter was 28 miles south of Palm Springs.
It was nothing compared to the 7.2 quake on Easter Sunday… which brings me to my next point. While I was covering a story in Calexico a few months ago, I lost my passport. 😦
It turns out fees are going up! So if your planning on heading out of the country soon, you better get to it before July 13.
Here’s more info on passport fees.
and here’s what I mean when I said… this post was going to be all over the place..
When I woke up this morning I knew I wanted to talk about the Running of the Bulls! oh yes! The San Fermin Festival in Pamplona, Spain started today! Ole!
You can see several runners knocked to the ground, but there were no gorings on the first day. The bulls weigh more than 1,100 pounds! Scary! but it’s still on my bucket list…. Well let me be clear, I hope to someday catch the action from a balcony and not the streets!
