I’m Selling All My Stuff To Travel

I’m soaking up beach days on the North Shore as much as possible.

Time is going by pretty fast, but I’m having a lot of fun talking story with friends.

Wow!  Thank you so much for your kind words of encouragement on my travel plans.  I’ve read every single message from my last post on the blog and on social media.  It feels so awesome, because I’ve had friends reach out from all over including: Austria, and South Africa.  I’ve been invited to Morocco and I’m starting to expand my travel wish list.

FEELING WEIGHTLESS

My goal was to sell as much as I could, give stuff to friends and donate the rest.  I’m not taking much… just a few suitcases filled with clothes, pictures, and so many good memories from Hawaii.

I’m scheduled to move out of my condo at the end of the month and started the decluttering process a few months ago.

If you live in Hawaii and are part of a buy/sell group on Facebook, I want to apologize for blowing up your feed.   I’ve had a really easy experience selling stuff there, and some people have even given me more money than what I asked for.  Mahalo Hawaii!

The major annoying thing is waiting for people who never show up… but overall, it’s been great.

HOW WAS YOUR WEEKEND?

I went camping on Friday night way up in the mountains at my friend’s ranch.  It was so peaceful to sleep under the stars and even though it rained a bit, it was still such a great experience to disconnect.

I saw horses, goats, and pigs and it’s always so relaxing to be off the grid.

On the way to the Ranch

I’m giving myself a week in Hawaii after I move out of my condo.  I want to go to Molokai and will be spending time with friends crossing things off my Oahu bucket list before I leave the island.

What’s on your Hawaii bucket list?  Any cool hikes I should know about?  When was the last time you decluttered?  Do you do it often, or are you the type to hold on to everything?  Do you think you could pack everything into 2-3 suitcases? What would you bring with you?

If you have any travel tips, be sure to use the CONTACT page to send a message, and I will also continue to post on my Facebook and Instagram as well.

With Aloha,

Alex

    1. Absolutely! There are so many things I had that I hadn’t used in so long. It’s a good feeling to let go of what no longer serves you. Thanks for reading my post!
